Called in for an interview and attended at short notice. Interview was the usual tell us about you, walk through your CV nothing particularly hard. Questions were then asked about how my current role would fit with them. (Having worked for a utility company close by it is a close fit.) I was presented with two tasks a maths challenge and a spot the mistake. The maths challenge was a little stupid. It was all mental maths but you have a calculator on you computer. Even in my current job I still use that. Why make work harder than it needs to be. Anyway I digress. The recruiter lady Nikki was lovely. Really interested in everything. The other one. Might as well have been out of the room watching paint dry. She was not interested at all. Nothing I said gave her any spark. (Kinda knew I wasn’t going to be offered based on that). I was called back for a different position. Having interviewed for that I wasn’t offered that either. The same two interviewed me again.
