Initially the resume got submitted through a outside recruiter. Once in touch with OfferUp's HR, I pretty much directly worked with the HR.
First had a 30min preliminary phone intv with HR followed in couple days with 1hr technical screen with hiring manager. Over phone intv both HR and hiring manager were pretty collaborative and felt like I was having discussion with a team member rather than been just 1 side drilled.
After clearing phone intv HR sent me the app to be developed and went over the expectations of by when it should be submitted and that I would be presenting it to the team in first half hour of intv.
HR kept in touch through the process there were no surprises. I was told it would be minimum 4 HR but may need extra hrs. mine did go extra time. I in total met 7 folks. The theme of collaborative, smart, passionate team members applied to all intv. I felt how u approach, communicate, work with your interviewer to solve the problem was valued more than just getting the answer right.
Leadership team presented the vision pretty well and were open about the wins we had so far and challenges we have ahead.
Overall interview resembles how one would work day to day in office. Having fun and taking pride in solving tough problems.
