The job was advertised as a Software Delivery Manager position; note the word Manager, there were very few details in the job description, and when I spoke to the internal recruiter she said that the full details would be described at the interview.
I attended a half hour interview during which it became clear that this was not a management position and simply involved selection, installation and training of software for internal staff.
The interview itself was unstructured and appeared to be focused on whether the department manager would like you or not, at no point was any discussion made about whether I was capable of doing the job or about my experience (I had related experience for the role except that I had previously been responsible for managing project teams to develop software and training materials for customers and as such this role would have been a major step back in my career and I wouldn't have applied if the job title had been advertised honestly i.e not as a managerial position)
