So much time wasted. Basically you get an zoom interview with one of their recruiters. If you pass they send you an hour long maths and english assessements to complete in 48 hours. The assessements are gamified with a times limit. If you pass your assessements you get to progress to the discovery day. Discovery day is a group zoom call with around other 20 people that runs from 9.30 till 12.30 so if you have other commitments prepare to book the time off. During discovery day you are split in groups of two with a person assessing you. They give you customer based scenarios and ask you how would you deal with them. Second part of it is in group of two to create a new octopus product or a partnership. You're lucky if the other person has something to contribute to this part but if not as it ended up being in my case you will have to pretty much pull this one yourself. After that you have 1v1 interview in which you get asked same questions as you already got asked before on your first interview. Another 30mins wasted on something that they should already know from your first interview. Prior to your interview they also give you two topics to research and prepare for. So be ready to know what products octopus offers and at least 3 of their partnerships and what they do with them. Pretty much preparing for an exam if you ask me. After you've done with your second interview in the same application process you go into Q&A which is another 30mins wasted because I feel like all needed information should have already been given prior to you moving to the second stage. What happens after second stage? Apparently another interview but this time in person. Because two interviews wasn't enough. If you're lucky enough to get to the 3rd stage good luck, if not no surprise because their CEO announced big changes in their energy specialists role because they are introducing AI. All process was just time consuming and it seemed like a fake hire since most of their customer service soon will be AI based.
