Hiring manager called directly and asked to complete coding challenge (write python django mini app that collects numbers from machines)
I submitted within a week, then they told me they don't hire for now. So i don't know exact answer for that

I applied online and fairly quickly got a response inviting me to an interview. Standard corporate structure - first phone call chat. They encourage you to listen to podcasts with the CEO and other staff members to get a feel of the company.

It was mostly a general chat - asked about my experience and salary expectations etc. The part I found most jarring for a company that tries to be more unique and not at all corporate was that I felt pushed to regurgitate the company values. It did feel like the interviewer was interested in learning about me beyond ticking that box.
