I was invited for a phone interview to which I accepted. During the phone interview, not a single technical lead was initial present. For the entire hour long interview, a new person joined ever 15 minutes at which point I had to repeat my entire introduction and background and answer the same repetitive questions. The HR representative then sent out a reference check to the 3 individuals I share from my network. When I finally received feedback multiple weeks later, I was told that I was not longer being considered because I do not have a PhD which was apparent and obvious before our conversation. Total and complete waste of time for everyone involved.
