      Quick response from a recruiter following an online application, with an invite to take brief online personality and cognitive assessments. Shortly after completion, I was contacted by a recruiter for a straightforward phone screen, then invited to take another cognitive assessment while being 'supervised' via webcam, which was very similar to the first. I then was invited to a phone screen with a current data scientist, which gave me a lot more background on the company, the role etc.; I was also asked a number of technical questions and told that the next round would be an at home technical assessment, which I'd submit and if I passed, be invited to present to management via web meeting. The assessment, from my perspective, did not make sense in terms of the data given to complete the assignment and the directives. The prompt/directions set for this contained some pretty significant methodological and logical flaws, to say the least. Regardless, I completed and submitted the exercise. After not hearing back for a week, I contacted them for an update and was told to expect a response soon. I finally got a reply two weeks after submitting the exercise inviting me to an onsite interview, during which I'd present the key takeaways from this to a group of managers, then have a few one-on-one interview sessions. By this point I was five weeks from their initial response to my application. The onsite interview went fine from my perspective, and I was even told by one of the interviewers that I had done a good job and "pretty much had" an offer. I was then told by a recruiter to expect to hear back on final decisions soon. After well over a week with no contact, I followed up and was told they still had not made a decision but that I would know within a few days. Another week+ had passed, so I followed up and was told that I would not be getting an offer as the position was being eliminated due to budgeting and that no offers would be made. Very frustrating after a very involved and drawn out, several-step, two month(!) long interview process. I would avoid this company, and put the time and effort toward those who are professional respectful of candidate time.

      HR call Hackerrank problem Talk with manager Take home assignment. Present take home assignment Very vague take home assignment. They make you do a take-home and do not provide any feedback. They say the take-home should take a few hours but really it takes much longer than that. Really a waste of time. They don't respect your time. Their interview process is just farming out work from interview candidates.

      Farmed out work as part of the interview process. Be careful if they ask you to complete a case study, this is not similar to case studies given by other companies. Did not formally interview. Kept dragging out process with work request without formerly interviewing. Had to cut them off. Read the reviews from other people interview process. Extremely unprofessional and shady company
