Overall, the interview experience was disappointing and felt poorly run. The coding interview was for a UK-based team, but the interviewer was based in India, so there was no opportunity to meet someone I’d actually work with. While the interviewer was friendly, a poor internet connection meant their camera was off throughout. The system design interview was with someone from the London team. Partway through, another person joined the call without introducing themselves, which felt unprofessional. Despite this, I felt I performed well overall. After being rejected, the recruiter offered feedback via email or a call. I requested written feedback twice and was ghosted. Based on this experience, I’d think twice before applying.
