I recently had a terrible phone interview with this company. The hiring recruiter called me to schedule an interview on short notice. Eager to get the job, I obliged to a fairly abrupt interview mere hours after first receiving word that they were interested. During the interview, the recruiter seemed bored, in a bad mood, and clearly anxious to get the whole thing over with. She also intimated she would be contacting me with further information on my application status, but I never spoke with her again. Likewise, my follow-up e-mail was completely ignored. While my disappointment in not getting the job surely informs my overall experience, I do have to say that it seemed incredibly strange to contact a potential employee, express interest in them, and then almost immediately become uninterested and borderline sarcastic during the hiring process. The whole thing made for an unpleasant and disappointing experience.
