An initial screen call with a recruiter (who was a fantastic person!!). Basic background questions.
Then ~1hr online exam, it is a fundamental engineering exam, but it is one of those quick thinking, intuition testing one...no preparation needed, just be a good engineer that you are.
3rd round is a panel interview with about 10 members, they are all working for NPI for many many years, and the combined years of working at Nikon were well over 100 years. This should tell you it is an organization that will let you stay and work hard for the rest of your life!
Despite your background, they are simply looking for a "good engineer," rather than the super-specific engineer many companies want these days. Also, they want you to commit the rest of your life to them, basically.
Will pay pretty well for the Phoenix area, it is a good gig. Are you a good engineer? Then you may feel at home at NPI :)
Best wishes to the company, good luck to you, candidate!
