I received an email from HR 3 weeks after submitting my application online. The phone interview itself lasted about 45 minutes. The interviewer was very pleasant, friendly, and was very informed about the company and the particular position. We went through my resume, talked about my experience, and I relayed specific stories about why I'd be a good fit for the job. I felt as if the interview went really well, and she told me she'd send me an invitation that afternoon to complete an online analytical test, which needed to be completed w/in 48 hours. Once I passed the test, then the hiring manager in NYC would contact me for a second round interview.
Unfortunately, I never received the invitation for the online test. I followed up with the HR rep the next morning, as well as the next week, and never heard from her again.
Finally, after having the phone interview mid-April, I received an automated email response early July indicating that they were going another direction. I am glad that they finally closed the loop, but I had already (obviously) pursued other job leads at that point.
