Interview wasn’t elaborate and by the time I got to the technical round, it looked like they already hired someone. The technical round was just preprocessing a dataset, answering from basic questions from it using packages like numpy and descriptive statistics. Other than this, no fundamental data science questions were asked.

I first had a screening with the recruiter which involved mostly describing my work experience and learning about Nextdoor.
The first interview consisted of Product Analytics and experimentation. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to the next step which would have been technical python/sql.
