      Entrevista

The interview process was completely unprofessional. The Human Resources person, was very disorganized, incompetent, and late to the first meeting. The initial meeting with him was a typical conversation. After our initial meeting, he sent an email outlining the next step: meeting the hiring manager. The day arrives, and instead of meeting the person he mentioned, another person appears on the call who doesn't even share the same role as the initial person. They also had a different genre, so the difference was clear—wrong person. Then I sent him a message, as he requested, about how the meeting went, being gentle, and he acted like he had no idea and as if nothing had happened. (Even if they claim this is the standard approach, it is not because the second person I met was completely unprofessional and didn't ask anything related to the specific position. No skills testing or assessment, literally nothing!) After a couple of weeks, he sent an email about my meeting with the hiring manager (AGAIN!), whom I had never actually met. I responded with an additional email explaining that I had actually met another person, not the one I was supposed to meet. He seemed not to have any idea. All this email communication proves how disorganized the whole experience was. The main issue is that during these two meetings, there was no skill showcase, test, or other assessment to objectively evaluate the candidate's actual skills. Objectively is the keyword here. It seems that objectively is dead, though! The person in the second meeting acted like a modern-day prophet; there was no skill showcasing and no questions about the position. No questions about the candidate's skills at all!! There was a vibe of nepotism as well because there's no other way to explain this level of incompetence. The problem is that you cannot have such a disorganized hiring process, especially for individuals with exceptional experience, proven skills, and strong educational backgrounds. Just say that if that person from that department ''happens to like you'' for whatever reason... then you get hired... That will save a lot of time for the candidates as well, after all! I won't mention the identities or surnames here, but if the company ever wants to improve this experience, I'd gladly elaborate.

      Pregunta 1

Nothing that had to do with the actual position. Nothing that was an assessment and related to the job.
