I had a couple of interviews for a UX Designer position at XING Events for their Munich office. The entire process took about 2 months. The first 2 discussions were via Skype and took about 1h each, then they invited me to meet the entire team at their office in Munich. They booked both the flights and the hotel room. In the end I was not given the position but I had a pleasant discussion with the team. The morning I left the hotel I was asked to pay for my stay because the hotel doesn’t have any information about other payment. I informed their HR people about the situation and they said they will make a full reimbursment. Even though I provided them with all the details and documents they asked for, it’s been a month and I didn’t get any payment back.
