- I was invited for the introduction interview sometime after I applied for the position. I also reached one of the Talent Acquisition Specialists of the company before the invitation. The call was actually a brief introduction to the company and its business. I didn't get much time to introduce myself and the focus was more on my soft skills rather than the technical background. The entire conversation was in a rush I'd say. He seemed quite nice and willing to help me relocate but again this was just the introductory call.
- The following interview was a technical screening call with one of the engineers of a team that I would be working with. He asked a specific group of technical questions such as troubleshooting, networking, virtualization, etc. It was obvious he didn't care a lot about my motivations for this role even though I was told this will be discussed as well. My impression about this "technical" person is that they clearly didn't care much.
- The next two interviews were supposed to include a deeper technical interview and the HR interview. I should have received feedback within a week. The recruiter sent me feedback on Sunday (which is quite weird) saying that the team rejected my application as they were looking for a more experienced person. This was a direct contradiction to what I was told in the initial call. Not a place where I would apply again sometime in the future.
