First contact was made by mail after I applied. I had to reply to several questions on a video platform while being recorded. The next step I've been contacted by phone for a quick presentation of the different steps of the interview. The process finished with a case study. I did all the best I had to and am really proud of my service done on this process. I even received congratulations from different people of the board at the end. Then, being promised I would receive the decision by phone the day after, i had to run during one entire month to get any feedback. Of course, I understood after three attempts that they would not select me. One month later, after pushing them again, I receive their feedback. They don't select me because "another candidate speaks one more language than you". Useless to specify how disappointed you are after having worked day and nights and given your best for a position, and seeing that the only explanation they give you is only because you called them again and again and that "another candidate speaks one more language than you". For a position where just being native in the relevant country and fluent in english was required. It's more frustrating when I actually speak 5 languages and it's noticed in my resume. They did not even make any feedback about what I had done. Only this excuse about the language on a "career starting position" Honesty is important.
