Got a call from HR. I already had offer in-hand, which I clearly told HR & she was fine with it. I got selected in an interview with VP & I was told to wait for an interview with Director. But, they told me to come again as the Director was busy. After that, I was following-up with them for the next 3 days. Eventually, they told me that I am NOT selected & reason they gave me was "your profile is good but we don't think you can handle the profile (I have 2+ years exp in client servicing) & we don't want to spoil the offer which you already have" I clearly told HR about my in-hand Offer then how can that be a reason for NOT selecting me? The reason is purely Un-professional. If I can not handle the profile then why VP selected me? doesn't VP's valuation have any value? please think about candidate's efforts, time & money. Be professional
