      The Neo4j interview process was longer than any other company that I've interviewed with, in both time and number of steps. Over the course of two months I went through 5 interviews--and that wasn't even the entire interview experience. When I got cut there were still two steps remaining in the process. Who knows how much longer it would have gone on for. It's very evident that Neo4j doesn't value the time of their potential employees. Further, I received emails from the recruiter on weekends and late at night. This didn't bother me, but again, I do think its indicative that Neo4j doesn't value work/life balance as a company. I also had interviews rescheduled at the last minute. All of this I would have been fine to overlook, but the worst part of the process was that after my fifth interview I was told I would be moving on in the process. I then heard nothing from the recruiter for a week. I finally got an email from them saying that the hiring team had "changed their mind" and I wasn't moving on after all. Poor candidate experiences are usually pretty telling predictors of poor employee experiences.
