Everyone was very nice and responsive throughout the process. I had two interviews: one initial conversation and a more in-depth discussion, followed by a project that tested my skills and approach.

The first round was using Spark Hire, which allows you to record answers to their interview questions on your own time and then submit them to the company. I was given about a week to complete the process from the time I got the email. While interviewing on your own time is convenient, answering questions without any interaction is difficult. Although it was only 5 questions, it took over an hour to complete because each video has a 2 minute limit and they pack 2-3 questions in per video so you have to practice a few times to make sure you answer is within the time limit before you start recording. The only negative feedback was that they did not reach out to communicate that they had gone with another candidate. A simple email letting me would have been more professional.
