I applied through a job search website. I got an initial interview call with the recruiter. I was given a take home coder pad for first round. it had 2 coding questions and 1 Java syntax question. I finished the coding questions. But I was unable to get the syntax question right. I didn't realize that the questions had individual timer and the syntax question timed out. Rejection email said the position is filled.
