Applied online, screened by internal recruiter, met with hiring manager, and panel of PMO and stakeholders. Focused more on value than project management. L&A background was drilled into as it was critical for success in the role.
Completed three interview rounds with some pressure to complete the third quickly. Great first and second interviews, very standard. Third interviewer was aligned with the role, but not the main stakeholder or manager. Received no questions, but instead was told my resume read too remote and that he didn't care to ask "normal work questions" and only cared about "company culture" while giving me little room to contribute. I tried asking questions on their book club and other activities with little responses. Eventually he gave unsolicited advice on how to find other jobs in the area and ended the call. A week later, I was told they wouldn't be proceeding and the recruiter had "received no feedback on why". It felt a bit disrespectful and dismissive.
