I had an informational interview a few months before applying to the position. This was very helpful because i got to meet people before even thinking about an Internship with NBC. I kept in touch with this contact and then around the time that one needed to look for an Internship I got a phone interview with that same contact. I had another phone interview with an SVP of the department and a few weeks later I had an interview with the team and they offered me the Internship there. Then I had to get in touch with the Internship program and they took it from there. Overall easy process and not so much confusion.

The hiring manager was super sweet and down to earth. She really just went through my resume, asking to elaborate on certain experiences and my skillset in specific areas that I would use in the position.
