I wish I would have read reviews warning about ghosting prior. Long process and ghosted by recruiter. Standard process: recruiting phone screen, HM sync, tech screen and on-site. Normally if I have any questions along the way, a recruiter will answer those questions(I highly recommend companies like Hubspot, Spotify,etc. they are the epitome of a positive interview process). Moreover, this company might tout “DEI” but if you’re an URM yourself with significant YOE, good luck! The HM interview felt more like an interrogation than an interview (mind you, this HM called herself a “DEI ninja” via her LinkedIn). I already built out the product features they were looking to build and +8 YOE experience in ML(I’m currently a Sr Staff MLE). The interview just felt unnecessarily abrasive, I found myself repeating examples of key responsibilities. Overall very frustrating experience. Interviewing is not fun anywhere, but this experience was by far one of the most negative experiences
