Honestly, the neutral rating is because I didn't hear anything back for a month after having a phone interview and taking time off work to go for an in-person interview. This is an incredibly rude way to treat candidates since it takes less than a minute to write an email saying you decided to pursue another candidate. I also had to check back in after the phone interview since I was told, "I'll follow up by X date" and that date came and went. Don't promise to follow up and then ignore that promise.
Otherwise, the interview was standard. I appreciated that all the interviewers said they had high standards and rarely interviewed outside the company, instead promoting internally. The people seemed great and I was very interested in the company. Though, the website about company culture did have some questionable things about people loving work regardless of a 6 or 16 hour day - and some of the reviews bragging about how no one leaves before 6 made me hesitant, I did get a good feeling after my in-person interview. They were honest when I asked about company flaws and honest when I asked if my resume or qualifications sparked any concerns.
Ultimately, I enjoyed meeting with the people I interviewed with, but I'm disappointed by the lack of follow-up.
