I was referred by a friend working there and got contacted a couple of days after submitting my application through the online system. Initially, the HR wanted to invite me for a face to face interview, but due to my travels, they set up a phone call. I received an interview invitation by e-mail with the name of the person that was supposed to interview me and the subject of the interview. At the time indicated, I was called by a different person and the whole interview was on a different subject. The person interviewing me had textbook questions and expected textbook answers, and was unable to accommodate answers based on my professional experience. We did not have anything close to a constructive, analytical discussion, and the interviewer was not able to provide me with details on when should I expect to hear any feedback. Almost two weeks later, the HR in charge of my application called to tell me that I was not selected to the next recruitment stage. In response, I requested a clarification as to why was I interviewed by a person and on a subject different than communicated to me in advance, to which I did not receive anything else but an apology from (I assume) somebody higher up in the HR department.
