I had 3 normal successful interviews the last included an modeling exercise and discussion. A 4th call was requested from the hiring manager as a "Catch up" call. This was in fact a 4th interview with repeat questions. Very deceptive tactic to catch someone off guard. It felt very much like an effort to find something wrong with me. The manager also seemed to disapprove of any ambition to move upward. The 4th interview was a lie and insulting after 3 very successful interviews. the process took over a month. It was mostly pleasant but to end in such a way is upsetting, but I am relieved its over and not working for that manager.
