The interview process was fair and the recruiter was responsive. The onsite interview portion was well organized and the breakdown of each interview was communicated ahead of time. There was a mix of technical and holistic questions.

Had an initial phone screen with an engineering manager that went well. Communication was prompt with the recruiting team and we organized a virtual onsite consisting of four interviews: two soft, two technical. All went very well and the technical recruiter reached out the next day and said they would be moving forward with an offer. We discussed salary/sign-on/equity in detail. She submitted the request on a Friday, gave me no information for a week, then TEXTED me that the team was not going to follow through with an offer. She didn't even have the respect to give me any feedback.

Terrible process.
I started the process with a standard intro call. From there, there's two options - a take home assessment or a Coderbyte. Neither option has you talking to an engineer at the company, which is the first warning sing.
At that point, I had followed up with a few questions in existing email threads. Instead, new email threads were started pestering me to finish the assignment as soon as possible instead of actually answering my questions. This happened three times.
Finally I scheduled a call to help answer my questions, but then I was ghosted on the call and never heard back. Completely unprofessional and disorganized.
@Modern Health, if you are having trouble hiring engineers, I suggest reevaluating at your recruiting process and candidate experience. I'm in the process with a few other companies and this has by far been the worst experience.

Was reached out by a recruiter for Modern Health and was told to either do two different assessments or just one on coderbyte and if I pass it will talk directly to the VP of engineering. Passed the assessment and spoke to the VP who seemed positive. After the interview I wanted to send him a thank you email. I followed up with the recruiter and heard nothing back ever again. Just basically ghosted. Terrible hiring practice.
