The recruiter never actually spoke with me, he just sent me a list of pre-screening questions for me to answer. The next steps were a phone conversation with the hiring manager, who gaslighted me into believing I would be moving on to the next steps. I sent a thank-you email but didn’t get a response until the next day I received the standard automated rejection email. I believe I was the one token diversity interview the hiring manager had to do for the interview.

Smooth and perfect but for the climax The recruiter arranged for an interview and promised to get back in 2 days while I am yet to hear from her despite it being 2 months. A candidate when informed of his position would appreciate the effort even if the offer is not given.
