I got a message from a Microsoft recruiter that the executive saw my profile on LinkedIn and wanted to talk. I applied online and filled out more information via email. They wanted me to talk to the hiring manager the next day, which I did and she wanted me to talk to the executive the following day. I then received an email to do 4 additional interviews, 3.5 hours. I gave them my availability and they totally ignored my dates I had sent and I had to scramble and rearrange my schedule to make it work since they were moving quickly. I then received an email from the recruiter an hour before my interview loop on interviewing tips and advice, clearly not helpful at this point. I let the recruiter know at the end that I would be on vacation for the next week but will look forward to hearing an update when I return. Two weeks go by and I get an automated email saying they won’t be moving forward with me. From the moment the recruiter messaged me to the last interview, this was a matter of a week of communication. I change my schedule around and was flexible to accommodate, I would expect a personalized email update or a phone call to let me know I didn’t get the job. Besides the interviewing process, I had great conversations with everyone so it was disappointing it ended this way. Such a sloppy process from such a renowned company.

Extremely poor candidate experience from recruiter. Only form of communication was via email in which the candidate needs to initiate: Interviewers very friendly and outgoing Recruitment turned me off moving forward

Entrevista
two different roles and two different recruiters did not take the process seriously. No organization, no follow through, no actual "recruiting" just checking boxes for minimum requirements. For the interview that made it to the hiring team, they were unprepared, lacked the ability to formulate interview questions and struggled to present/share screens for the assessment. HM didn't bother to follow through either. ZERO effort from everyone involved all around :(
