Quick & positive interview process with 4 rounds. 1st round with hiring manager & 2nd with a cross-functional manager. Discussed my skills, previous experience and detailed explanation of the role & Microsoft as an organisation. 3rd interview tested my personality, cultural fit, with some behavioural competency based questions. 4th interview with a senior director, discussed my fitness for the role in greater detail & long term career alignment.

Had one phone interview with the hiring manager. Interview was all over the place - started firing off behavioral questions, then talked about the role, then asked if I had questions, then asked more behavioral questions. There was no flow or structure at all. Interviewer visibly grimaced at a few of my responses. Received an automated rejection email about a month later. Not a pleasant experience.
