Entrevista
VERY annoying interview process. Was very flexible with my schedule to allow four (4) separate 1-hour long interviews to be scheduled over four days around all the stakeholders schedules....but then two of the interviewers were very late (20+minutes) or didn't show at all!!!
NONE of the interviewers asked about my resume/skills/how well I would match to the specific role. ALL of the questions were annoying generic "tell me about a time you.." type questions. It seemed like no-one reviewed my resume at all before sitting down to the interview.
There was also NO ATTEMPT at building a personal connection. No-one asked about my hobbies, preferred working style, etc. It was 100% robotic questions from the entire panel.
Overall a complete waste of time, especially considering Micron's salaries have not caught up with the Boise housing market. Do not be tricked into accepting a 100K salary when the average / median house is 400K...this should be a TOP-TIER job in Boise, and should be paying closer to 200K!

Overall process took 2+ months. Interview process initiated with a first 30 min phone call with the technical recruiter (HR). Later, the second round of phone interview was lined up with the process team. The questions were situation (How to deal with multiple projects, meeting deadlines, etc.)and role (How to approach processing of a novel material, etch selectivity, marangoni effect etc.) based, depending upon the position. Only few questions were asked based on the background from resume. After this, the team offered an invitation for on-site interview, where there were eight 1:1 interviews with team leads, managers and director. Questions asked were very technical and situation based (Semiconductor processing, electrochemistry), to analyze the skills and knowledge depending upon the role and position.

Spoke with recruiter during the career fair at my University. They called late that night, and set up an interview for the next day. The interview consisted of technical questions. Drawing energy band diagrams, explaining electron flow, explain diffusion process. Nothing tricky, just basic questions for an engineer in that position. Never received a second call. Turns out they were looking at me for a R&D position that requires a graduate degree, only having my BSEE I don't think I ever had a chance. Good experience though.
