Two phone interviews with hiring manager, third step was video interview with two others.
All of them seemed very unhappy, so I know it wasn't just one person having a bad day. Were they really trying to recruit or just making it thru the day? So strange. At least smile and pretend. Anything would be better than this sad group. Zero joy. Although the department management usually sets the tone, so it could be isolated to that group vs enterprise-wide.
Unsure where I stand and unsure if I would like it anyway. Standard lingo that they're looking around at others -- super reassuring, thanks for that.
Kind of cagey on next steps, which is a red flag that they are neither sure who they want nor when. Please don't waste candidates time until you know why you're interviewing in the first place.
