Applied online and received a call a week after application to go for interview. It was a group interview, the manager that interviewed us was laid back and passionate about the company. He pretty much asked us why we wanted to work at Micro Center. After the interview, we had to take a personality test, reasoning/problem solving test, and technical skills test. I got another call for another interview about a week and a half after the group interview and tests. It was an interview with another manager, but the GM walked in and interviewed me at the same time. The GM at the location I applied at has been the GM for 15 years and is very knowledgeable.
It was a completely different culture than my previous employer. Micro Center offers great customer service by making sure employees are knowledgeable about the products they're selling.

I had a two interview process where I was separately scheduled with the primary managers for the sales team. Each had pretty casual but thorough enough questions for me to get a sense of my background and why I chose to apply before showing me around the store.

I was asked about my education, work experience, why I was switching paths, and why I felt I would succeed in a sales role.

There are two interviews. The first one was a group interview, then one-on-one with the department manager. if they like you, they will make you do an IQ test before you leave the first interview. If you pass the test and they like you the second interview is a one-on-one with the store manager.

I went in for 3 interviews. The first was an open interview. I started by taking 2 assessments on a computer. One was a math skills/critical thinking test, and the other was the typical screening with questions like "what would you do if a coworker was stealing". After that I spoke with the general manager who asked some questions about previous employment and my hobbies and interests. The second interview was with the sales manager and it was a lot more in depth. He asked a lot more questions and wanted to know more about how I would perform as a sales person rather than looking for an overall judge of character. The final interview was with my supervisor, and it was the simplest. At this point they wanted to hire me so the questions were more about clarifying what I would be doing and asking if I agreed to the responsibilities.
