Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Merkle (Londres, Inglaterra) en oct 2017

      Entrevista

I was invited to do a digital interview which included some basic questions (e.g. about my degree) for which plenty of preparation time was given, and a more difficult question specific to the role and industry with little preparation time. I was then invited for a group interview. They gave very clear instructions about what was needed (questions about yourself to answer during a preparation as well as a list of questions about the industry, a random one of which will be asked of you). There was then a group task/ice breaker. In this stage it is best to be genuine in your answers, and show curiosity, initiative, and a little bit of leadership. Just be yourself, don't try to say what you think they want to hear. It's important to research the industry and role well. They then said the interview was over but that they would ask some more questions to some people just for "info that wasn't clear in the digital interview". This was pretty clearly a way to interview the stronger candidates with more depth, in my opinion. They asked pretty standard questions and wanted me to show passion for the role. Conversely to the first part, here they want you to say exactly what they want to hear. I found the interviewers to be uninterested by my answers. One of them was especially obviously grumpy and distracted, and wasn't even looking at me (she couldn't even fake a smile when I thanked them for their time). It was pretty clear to me that I wasn't answering their questions as they liked. I was definitely "too genuine" at this stage, so I would recommend candidates to prepare rehearsed, perfect answers for this part. They try to come across as a quirky startup, but you need to show that you're very driven and ambitious to be chosen for the role. I received feedback quite speedily, which is nice.
