The interview process itself was great. I first talked to a recruiter and she asked me about my skills and experience, Next I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and a separate call with another member of the team where they discussed my skills in more depth and told me about the role. After that, they flew me out to SF where I met with the team and did an exercise. Everyone I met was great and the interview process was seamless and in total took about 4-5 weeks. I even appreciated the rejection call from the recruiter because it was really nice (I know this sounds weird, but it was).
I rated this experience neutral because getting my travel reimbursement has been a pain. It's been almost two months since I've interviewed and I still haven't received my reimbursement. A month after I submitted my expenses, I followed up with the coordinator (someone I didn't interact with during the interview process) and she said she would follow up but she never did. That was about three weeks ago so I followed up with her again today and she responded within 5 minutes with a patronizing message about how everyone is working diligently to process this and that the process usually takes 3-4 weeks. I reminded her that i've been waiting closer to 8 weeks! I'll never apply to this company again just because of how snippy that coordinator was and how there's been no communication regarding my reimbursement.
