I interviewed with a panel of 3 people, all scientists. I answered questions, gave a presentation that I prepared at their request, etc.
I did well enough that they checked my references and the CEO of the company was brought in to meet me. At that point I realized it was a scam - that someone on their management team recognized my name from our college days and wanted to follow my career. This person really disliked me and had previously tried to block my entry into a science-based career in that city. The company was never actually interviewing me. It was a scam to allow this manager to harass me. The company clearly suffers from a total lack of professionalism, ethics, etc. There is a serious problem there and it is clearly perpetuated by upper management.
I moved on to much greener pastures years ago, but recently I came across the LinkedIn profile of the CEO of Medicure and felt compelled to write this review. The behaviour of this organization was unprofessional, unethical, and possibly illegal (they provided a false reason for collecting private information about me).
