Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 días. Acudí a una entrevista en McMaster-Carr en oct 2010
Entrevista
I was approached via email from a recruiter who got my resume off of monster.com. I then received a phone call interview which lasted about 20 minutes and then was asked if I could come in within the next two days for an in-person interview with the management team. I went in and met with three managers, in ascending order, ending with the manager of the corporate division for the position I hoped to fill. The questions were detailed and geared so as to demand a thoughtful and mature answer. No vague answer would get you very far with these people. They seemed unconvinced that my lack of business experience was an asset, even though they stressed throughout the interview and pre-interview process that they chose college grads who had no business training. There is a definite culture in this company and if you seem to fit in there, you will get the job - that is the feeling I got from the experience. It just wasn't me, I knew that and they knew that. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. Extreme care was given to be impartial and to ask questions that were impersonal yet also would provide character-revealing answers.

It was a total of 5 interviews before they made a decision. I think their culture seems adequate, they don’t really disclose a lot about their retirement benefits. It is completely on site, unless you’re going for a senior role
Very long, back to back interview. Tiring all in all. At least five hours out of my day. Interviewing from different parts of the organization. An interview from the project manager, hiring manager, and day to day operations.
