McMaster-Carr moves quickly! From the initial contact (via LinkedIn) to my initial call was 48 hours, and then my next interview was 48 hours after that. Unfortunately, when I explained that I wasn't interested in one of their many locations, it felt like I was completely out of the running. This is frustrating, because the job they reached out to me for didn't have a set location.

The first round was a 45 minute phone call that asked only questions about resume and behavioral questions. You don't really get to know the interviewer and it is rather robotic.

3 interviews prior to being flown out to the campus. On-campus interview consists of 4 interviews, 2 "informal" and 2 "formal". Also included a project overview where you have the opportunity to ask questions.

1. One 30 minute screening interview with a recruiter 2. An optional current employee informational interview 3. Three one-hour interviews from the morning to the early afternoon with fifteen minute breaks in between. The last interviewer was thirty minutes late.
