I applied for the position via LinkedIn then got an email from recruiter within a week of my application submission. Our exchange went well - unfortunately, it took almost a month before the recruiter connected with me to arrange a phone call with the Associate General Counsel. The phone call with Associate General Counsel went very well. To my dismay, I received a generic “We’re moving forward with other candidates.” The attorney likely found someone with little experience who demanded a smaller paycheck. It’s a two-person legal team. That newbie will be overwhelmed. You get what you pay for!
