Not terrible, started with a phone screen; interviewed with hiring manager, came back for back-to-back interviews with another department manager and department director. Called back for another interview with CAO (this seemed excessive for a specialist position). Recruiter called for references list -- they were very specific on the sampling of references, and they did indeed call to check. Each interview had a list of canned-questions, situational questions.
