Straightforward. Took online math assessment and then came in for an interview that was more of a personality check. Manager was friendly and was offered the job at the end of the interview.

How would you explain a question to a student in two different ways?
I was scheduled for a math test for a Mathnasium. Considering I drove 45 minutes one way for an employment test, I had asked for an interview following. After the employment test, the first interview was a bust- the manager had too many distractions, so we rescheduled. Upon arriving at the 2nd interview, I was told she had sent me an email several hours prior asking to reschedule again. As this was the second time she had rescheduled, I declined the change. She agreed to interview me in an hour. The interview went well. However, rescheduling twice, emailing me instead of calling me was completely unprofessional. I don't think she ever returned my calls or emails saying she was not hiring me either. She was just yanking my chain. This was one of the worst hiring processes I have ever seen.
Easy process, 50 questions just some geometry, algebra And there will be no calculus just learn math and you are good to go Interniew after knowledge interview will be online un
When I interviewed at Mathnasium, I first had a short phone call about my background. Then I went in for a math test and a short interview. They asked how I’d explain problems to students and watched me do a sample tutoring session.

One thing they asked me was how I would explain a tricky math problem to a student who didn’t understand it.
