When interviewing with Marriott, it's best to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action you took, Results you achieved) when responding to questions. They inquired about my customer service experience, communication skills, ability to work in teams. Luckily, I had been working for another hospitality company and had plenty of experience to respond. At the property I work for, developing a rapport with the interviewer is just as important as communicating your job qualifications. Management has always tried to hire people who will fit in and work well with our team.
