I applied online and was contacted via e-mail the next day. Had the standard introductory phone screen and then was given a take-home technical assessment to complete at my own pace. I spent a few hours completing the assessment and turned it in after a couple days later. A code-review type interview was then scheduled to go over my project with another developer. Minutes before my interview I received an e-mail from the interviewer saying they couldn't make it, asking if we could reschedule for another time. My rescheduled interview rolls around and I get an e-mail saying the interviewer can't see me on the call and then realized I was never given the number to call into in the first place (I assumed I was going to be contacted directly). Once this all was finally sorted out we reviewed my assessment. Interviewer seemed to be satisfied with my project and then went on to talk about MapLarge. Everything sounded pretty normal until they mentioned that MapLarge is where customers come when the scope of their project becomes "too big for Google", after hearing that it was hard to take anything they said seriously. That was the last I heard from them, from the whole experience it sounded like they are a company with pretty high turnover - probably best to stay away unless this kind of disorganization is something you enjoy.
