Entrevista
Interview process was not professional in the slightest, someone from Madrid calls you but you can't understand anything they are asking me. Then I get the to the in person HR interview which then the person the interviewing me cannot understand what I'm saying so it's a lot of repeating very basic questions for example they ask why I choice my uni , course and having 2 gaps between that time explaining that I wanted have in person lectures instead of online for a better experience due to COVID as well as the course I picked because there were less people which was better in terms of the learning environment considering I was doing most of the modules for comp sci. Interviewer couldn't understand that. Even asking me why only applying now for jobs after graduating 2024, which was never said which is an unserious question because jobs are very competitive.

Applied on Linked in. Received a phone call from HR manager in Madrid a couple of days later asking questions about my CV just to confirm details etc, then invited me to an assessment centre next week.
Assessment centre was a numerical test and a group activity. Numerical test was harder than I expected since it was non-calculator- they don't have a test provider like SHL etc. they just make their own questions-hard to prepare for. Also major curve-ball id that it was NEGATIVELY MARKED. 20 mins 16 questions.
There were 8 candidates in the assessment centre and our group task was to plan how we would solve this problem : The local government has found that tourism in London has decreased over the past four years, explain how you would investigate this/provide a solution/state possible costs/ benefits of your actions etc. We had 2 mins to quickly write down ideas, then we had to present them individually to the group. Then we had 30 mins to come up with a plan as a group- and we weren't aloud to split into smaller groups. Difficult when people had different ideas of how to structure the task/ interpret the problem! Very easy to forget you're being watched and analysed every step of the way! Received an email the next day saying I didn't make it to the next round. First time doing this so it was a good learning experience! Will only get better with practice!
