Process started well enough, online application along with a compentancy test, IQ tests etc. Initial telephone interview, answer basic questions, this was ok. Tasked with visiting a store, providing a SWOT and 90 day business plan which was pretty straight forward, but can be challenging if you are unsure of the KBBI business. Next, face to face meeting, hour - hour and a half, going through the SWOT and plan. Next steps. In my experience, this is when things got a little frustrating, there was clearly some politics going on behind the scenes as I was told I was 100% successful, but had to wait for confirmation, this took a few weeks, meaning progress on other applications was impacted, as I was given the impression the role was mine, so i had let a couple of opportunities go. The team were friendly, professional, (sometimes came across a little too upbeat for me) but I could tell they knew this wasn't the best experience for me, having to wait and not able to explain what was going on. From the outside looking in it worried me a little, as if this at the start what will it be like once I am working there? Lets hope it lives up to my expectations.
