Got contacted a month after applying to come in for a test. Test completed, did interview with a few people, was asked to send references and why I'd be a good fit, no response to this email. Got called in for interview with one more person, who said I should be hearing back within the next week. Didn't hear anything for about three weeks so I reached out to ask about their decision and didn't hear anything for two more weeks until they sent me an offer. At this point it had been about two months since the whole interview process started, and I didn't respond to the offer same day as I needed time to assess. Next day I get an email asking me if I got the offer. I replied that I did but that I was thinking it over and wanted to know by what date they need a response, since this information wasn't in the offer email. Right away I get a response (mind you, this is next day after the offer was given) that they'd already moved on to another candidate and I was no longer needed.
Completely disrespectful, expecting the candidate to jump for joy at their (not very generous) offer at the very second they send it when they can't be courteous enough to respond to people in a timely fashion. So glad I dodged that bullet, because judging from this interview process, their employees are probably not treated with much more respect.
