My overall interview process with the recruiter, then with a hiring manager and then with who I belive was interviewing me for a culture fit went very well. The people I spoke to were informative, conversational and obviously very passionate about their business which is everything I look for when I am interviewing someplace and am very keen to pay attention to when the entire process is over Zoom. The reason for my rating is negative is because of the "ghosting". After being told I would receive a simulation follow-up within the next day, I received nothing. After following up with all of the contact emails I had already interviewed with, nothing. This behavior was not only unprofessional, but to some degree I found it quite reckless. Being in a global pandemic, it is more important than ever to ensure people are treated and communicated with in a professional manner while they are job hunting. The elephant in the room is that we are all going THROUGH IT and our mental health is being tested daily. To be"ghosted" as a job candidate when given all signs that the process was going to continue, to still "ghost" when given plenty of opportunity to follow-up made me feel like I had done something so repugnant during our last interaction that I had been "blocked", which couldn't have been true. And look, I get it, stuff falls through the cracks and off of our to-do lists, we go on vacation without following up, etc. But during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, people who are looking for jobs have a lot on the line, more than ever before. To treat them so callously, like I mentioned, is irresponsible and reckless.

I worked with Farrah during the interview process at Madison Reed - she is an in-house recruiter based in Denver, and was absolutely awesome at walking me through all the interviews (and who I'd be interviewing with), setting them up, and keeping me informed throughout the whole process.
I would have to say the interview process with Madison Reed was the smoothest and most rewarding process I've ever had while interviewing with a company. All the questions were spot-on, the conversations were meaningful, and every interview I had (there was a total of 7 different interviews), brought much information and clarity about the company, and its employees. When I was offered the position, I felt with 100% certainty that I was making the right decision.
