Me postulé a través de una facultad o universidad. El proceso tomó 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Macy's (New York, NY) en mar 2011
Entrevista
Macy's college recruiters came to campus and collected resume from students. From there, they do a resume screening and once you pass the screening, they email you for the 1st round of interview.
The 1st interview consisted 2 30mins interviews, one with an HR director and second with either a buyer or a planner. Interview with an HR person was more behavior whereas interview with a buyer or a planner was more intense.
After you pass the 1st round, they email you again to join their on-site interview program which takes total of 2 days. Also before the on-site interview, you have to take 4 different types of personality/behavior tests online then you get to participate in on-site interview.
On-site interview consisted of group presentation, a retail math test and 2 more 1:1 interviews. 1:1 interviews was very similar to the 1st round of interview and retail math test was fairly easy. They give you a formula sheet so all you have to do is solve the problems using that sheet. Group presentation was little bit more intense since you have 4 other people in your group and you have to come up with merchandising strategies within a day.
Overall, it was an intense 2 days on-site interview.
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
