The interview process is easy. They ask you basic questions and usually hire you on the spot. However, DO NOT tell them if you are in the national guard/reserves. Apparently Macys does not support the military. At the end of my interview she asked me if I was in the reserves (an illegal interview question) and after I told her that I was, she informed me that she needed someone "more available". Macy's should be ashamed.
I was able to interview immediately upon walk in, after completing a written application. There was a small group of friendly and competent human resources staff available at the time.

Entrevista
I started with a "virtual", interview that included recorded video questions. I went through all of the many required tests and online video recordings and received a phone call from a woman to come in the very next day for an interview.
Note: When I filled out the online application I checked the box that indicated I could work evenings and weekends.
The woman who greeted me acted like she was surprised that I could only work part time hours.
I stayed calm and polite, I smiled I made eye contact which she rarely returned and unfortunately, her disgruntled mood never improved. The interview was actually a big waste of time for both of us. If she did not like my recorded video interview or the fact that I just wanted to work part time, then why did she contact me for an interview?

It was pretty easy, I think the one thing was that I was nervous so I felt like I will mess up, but they made me feel relaxed and confident with what I was saying.
