Was contacted by a recruiting company to interview for a role that sounded great. As soon as I met the interviewers, I felt very misled. First off, the manager acted as if he was busy and mentioned that he had a 1-on-1 at the same time as the interview. The second interviewer was late. They asked a few questions about my resume and acted as if it was the first time they'd seen it. The manager had an extreme attitude and I was mentally checked out of the interview within about 10 minutes. The second guy that came in late interrupted me one too many times. I had a few stock questions to ask and he couldn't answer any of them without any negativity. I randomly mentioned something about confluence and he just starts ranting about how much he hates it lol. I asked him about the first 90 days and he utters something like "we want you to hit the ground running, there's not much onboarding here". At the very least, sell your company even if you decide that you don't want to proceed further. I didn't get the feeling that they even enjoyed working at Macy's.
